Infrared Sauna & Peri Steaming (Yoni/Lingam) FAQ

Who should not steam/ use caution when choosing to steam?

  • Women with an IUD-Intrauterine Device (* discuss with your peri-steam provider)
  • Infection (cervical, uterine or ovarian inflammation)
  • Fever
  • Pregnant or possibly pregnant should not do a vaginal steam
  • Heavy menstrual bleeders (*discuss with your peri-steam provider)

Steaming can cause increased “liquids”, and flow, as it releases stagnation from the uterine lining cavities

How long will it take?

It depends on the individual, but most sessions can be between 10mins to 30 mins. Rest time is also a part of your session, and time is allotted to do so.

How often should I steam?

This also depends on the individual, their cause for steaming and their constitution.
